UP Rajya Vidyut Sewa Ayog Electricity Service Commission Of uttar pradesh published the official advertisement 01/VSA/2017 Amended for inviting various categories of the posts for Uttar pradesh Power Corporation limiter UPPCL.  Application form is invited online for office assistant and stenographer category in different distribution corporation of UPPCL, Transco, CESCO, from General, SC, ST, and OBC category. Application form for is invited for Group C category posts of Sahayak Karyalaya (office assistant) and stenographer grade. This Group C category post of office Assistant and stenographer will be filling via direct recruitment. There are 2296 posts for office Assistant and 227 posts for stenographer grade III.  Post details as are follows

Selection procedure: UPPCL will conduct different examination for Office Assistant and stenographer Group 3 category.  If you are interested for apply for both category of the post they fill application form separately for each category of the post and pay application form fee separately. 
Final selection of the eligible candidates will be done on the performance of computer based CBT examination and Skill Test 
Likhit pariksha, Dakshata pariksha, will be conducted by UPPCL

Question paper pattern of the written examination as are follows 
Written examination will comprise two parts
1st part: questions of the 1st part will be related from DOEACC CCC level of computer knowledge. All questions will be objective type and MCQ based. Total 50 questions will be asked from this section which will carry maximum 50 marks. Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer ¼ marks will be deducted as a minus marking.  Marks of this section not added in final merit list preparation.  Each candidate is required to score at least 20 marks in computer section.

2nd part: questions of the 2nd part will carry maximum 180 marks for 180 questions.

Negative marking will be applicable in this part also. For each incorrect answer ¼ marks will be deducted as a minus marking.

Syllabus for Skill Test of UPPCL -  
  • Total 5 minutes time duration will be given for testing the typing speed.
  • For declaring qualified in the skill test, candidates are required 30 wpm typing speed.
  • There are 20 marks for typing test.  These marks will be given for those candidates who will type in hind @ 30 wpm and English 35 wpm only.
  • Hindi Computer typing test will be held in Microsoft word 2007, Font Kruti Deve 010/ 016 and font Size 16
  • A stander keyboard will be provided for typing test.
  • Hindi Typing Test will be qualifying nature
  • Proficient in English Typing will get preference,
  • Final selection merit list will be based on through the marks obtained by the candidates in written examination part which will carry 180 marks and Typing test which will carry 20 marks.

Stenography test – all those candidates who will be declared qualified in the part 2 examination they will be call for Stenography test. Total 5 minutes time duration will be given for Hindi Stenography Dictation.

Total 30 minutes will be given for this dictation in computer for typing. 
Kruti Dev 010 or 016 fonts will be use for typing test.

These assistant accountant  will be appointed in Distribution Companies(DISCoM) viz, Ujdnyanctrat Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Kanpur Electric Supply Company(KESCO), U.P. Power Transmission Corporation Ltd'(TRANSCO) and UPPCL Corporate  Offices under Uttar pradesh Power Corporation Ltd, UPPCL. These posts are group C category.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education Qualification  : Graduation Degree in commerce

Selection Procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be done through the written examination. Bharti pariksha of AA of UP Power Corporation will be held online. Written test will be held at Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Meerut District.
Question Paper pattern and Syllabus of UPPCL assistant accountant examination:
Written online examination of Power Corporation will carry total 200 marks.
Question paper contains 200 objective type questions.  
Each candidate is required to score 40% minimum qualifying cutoff marks in assistant accountant examination. For each correct answer 1 marks will be awarded. Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking / negative marking.
Total 3 hours time duration will be given for attempting the question paper.
Question paper will be divided in two parts
Part 1 : this section will contains 50 question form computer subjects. Stander of the questions will be DOEACC O level. Each question will carry 1 mark. Candidates are required to score at least 50 % marks in this section.  
Part 2: this section will contains 150 questions which will carry maximum 150 marks. Questions will be related from following subjects.

(i) General English & General Hindi.
(ii) Arithmetic.
(iii) Accountancy, Auditing and Income Tax (conforming to the graduation standard)
The syllabus of Accountancy, Auditing And Income Tax is detailed below:
Accountancy:
(a) Trading and Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet.
(b) Bills of Exchange.
(c) Self balancing ledgers and sectional balancing.
(d) Capital & Revenue, Receipts & Payments, Income & Expenditure Accounts.
(e) Depreciation, Reserve & Provisions.
(f) Branch and Departmental Accounts.
(g) Double Accounts System.
(h) Bank Reconciliation Statement.
(i) Rectification of Errors.
(j) Balance-Sheet formats & classification.

Auditing and Income-Tax:
(a) Object of Audit.
(b) Vouching and verification.
(c) Rights, Duties and Liabilities of Auditors.
(d) Income Tax, Provisions pertaining to income from salary and Provisions related to chapter-VI of Income tax Act 1961.
(E) provision related to TDS & form to be filed with income tax department.  
Marks of the computer section will not added in the final merit list preparation.

SC / ST of UP  : rs 600 , PWD candidates – rs 10  and for all other candidates  rs 900
