Education qualification: Intermediate and Diploma in automobile engineering / mechanical engineering

Essential Qualification Details
1. माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद, उ0प्र0 की हाई स्कूल परीक्षा या सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है
2. (1) आटोमोबाइल इन्जीनियरिंग (तीन वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम) में डिप्लोमा, या (2) मेकेनिकल इन्जीनियरिंग (तीन वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम) में राज्य प्राविधिक शिक्षा परिषद द्वारा प्रदत्त डिप्लोमा या (3) उपर्युक्त विधा/शाखाओं में से किसी में केन्द्र सरकार या राज्य सरकार द्वारा समकक्ष घोषित कोई अर्हता
3. किसी प्रख्यात आटोमोबाइल कर्मशाला में, जो पेट्रोल और डीजल इंजन से युक्त हल्की मोटरगाडि़यों, भारी माल गाडि़यों और भारी यात्री मोटरगाडि़यों दोनों का मरम्मत कार्य करता हो, कम से कम एक वर्ष का कार्य करने का अनुभव
4. ऐसा ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस धारक होना आवश्यक है जो उसे मोटर साइकिल, भारी माल गाडि़यों और भारी यात्री मोटर गाडियॉ चलाने हेतु प्राधिकृत करता हो।
5. देवनागरी लिपि में लिखित हिन्दी भाषा का सम्यक ज्ञान होना चाहिए।

A paper on Highway Code, the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988,
Central Motor Vehicle rules, 1989 and Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicle Rules, 1998. (50 Marks: 2 Hours)
A paper consisting of question of the following subject:
.(i) Maintenance and upkeep of motor vehicles;
(ii) Principal factors relating to road safety;
(iii) Minor and major repairs of motor vehicle
iv) Mechanism and working of diesel, Petrol, gas and dual fuel engines.
(v) Service check-up and model routine.
(vi)Vehicular Air and Noise pollution. (100 Marks : 3 Hours)

A practical on motor vehicles. (100 Marks)
Personality Test. (30Marks). Personality Test will be held by the commission after the Written and Practical Examination on Dates to be communicated in due course and will be confined to such number of candidates only as have qualified in the Written and the practical test, candidates will also have to pass a test in driving heavy transport vehicles.
